These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Harmber regarding your use of the Harmber application and website. These Terms apply to all users.

What Harmber Is

Harmber is a free Android music player that allows users to discover and stream music from third-party sources including YouTube. Harmber does not host, own, distribute, or claim ownership of any music content accessible through the app. All content is provided by third-party platforms subject to their own terms.

License to Use

Subject to these Terms, Harmber grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on your personal Android device for personal, non-commercial use.

Permitted Use

You may use Harmber to:

• Search for and stream music from supported third-party sources
• Create and manage local playlists on your device
• Import playlists from supported platforms for personal use
• Enable Discord rich presence to display your listening activity
• View synchronized lyrics during playback

Prohibited Use

You must not use Harmber to:

• Download or permanently copy streamed content without rights holder permission
• Circumvent or disable any content protection mechanisms
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app beyond what applicable law permits
• Use the app for commercial purposes without prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any related systems or servers
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party

Third-Party Content

All music, lyrics, and related content accessible through Harmber is provided by third-party platforms subject to their own terms. Harmber is a client interface — we do not host, store, modify, or redistribute this content.

Harmber makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, availability, or legality of any third-party content. Access may change or be unavailable at any time without notice.

YouTube Terms

Harmber uses the YouTube Data API Services. By using Harmber's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Harmber is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be accurate or available. Your use is entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harmber and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. As Harmber is free, our maximum aggregate liability is zero.

Termination

You may stop using Harmber at any time by uninstalling the application. We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without prior notice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith discussion. If formal resolution is required, it shall be conducted in the jurisdiction applicable to the project maintainers.
